EVENT 006: MACKYARD x 4ZERO ULTRA
Date: Saturday 21st March, 2026
Time: TBC
Location: Secret Lake District Location
Sympathy: None
When two worlds collide. We are bringing the chaos of the Mackyard Ultra to a secret location in the Lake District.
WHAT IS THE MACKYARD x 4ZERO ULTRA?
Competitors will run a 4.2 mile (6.7 kilometre) route or ‘yard’, on the hour, every hour, until there is only one runner remaining.
Each yard starts exactly on the hour. Competitors have 60 minutes to complete each yard and cannot start a yard early or finish late.
For example, the first yard will begin at 10:00, the second at 11:00 and so on. A warning whistle will be sounded with 3, 2 and 1 minute before each yard begins.
The faster you complete a yard, the more rest you get, but the more tired your legs will become. Which strategy will you choose?
Competitors will continue to complete yards until only one remains, who will be crowned the winner. Every other competitor is classed as a DNF (Did Not Finish).
LOCATION
To be announced
SUPPORT
It is likely the Mackyard Ultra will be the furthest you have every run in one go.
To help you do this, we welcome small support groups to help each runner.
Whilst on the course, this is an entirely self-sufficient event. However, you can set up camp at Event HQ to help push yourself to your limits.
NUTRITION AND HYDRATION
As mentioned above, this is a self-sufficient event. Competitors are expected to bring enough food and nutrition to sustain them for the entirety of the event. This includes means to consume this food e.g. plates, containers, cutlery etc.
Limited Early Bird tickets available now. Let’s go round again.
