INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY: PANEL TALK & 5KM SOCIAL RUN

£0.00

Date: Wednesday 4th March 2026.

Time: Arrive from 18:00. Optional 5km run 18:30. Panel discussion 19:15.

Location: The Lucky Saint, 58 Devonshire Street, W1W 5EA.

Bag Drop: Yes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

To celebrate International Women’s Day on 8th March, we are hosting an evening to celebrate women in the sport of running.

The theme of the evening will be “breaking down barriers” where we will explore how to overcome these, whether that be on the start line of a race or navigating every day life.

The evening will begin with a (completely optional) group 5km run around Regent’s Park (all paces welcome!) before returning to the Lucky Saint for some food, drinks and to settle in for our panel.

This will be led by Brand & Communications Strategist, Sam Zamani who will be joined by our two panellists, Esmee Gummer and Dina Loufimpou.

Esmee is an ultra runner and Founder of the Say Yes Club. In June, she will be setting off on her biggest challenge yet, ‘The Nation’s 5k’, running to every city in the UK and hosting a 5km run in every single one.

Dina is also an ultra runner and alongside her athletic journey is mum to a one year old, navigating the balance between motherhood and high-performance sport. Dina’s mission is to inspire more women to continue showing up for themselves, proving that persona; goals and family life can coexist.

We would love for you to join us for an evening of celebration and the bringing together of women to share experiences and build connections.

Tickets are free but are limited so if you do sign up and are no longer able to make it, please let us know at hello@mackyardevents.com so we can open the place to someone else.

Looking forward to seeing you down there!
