WHAT TO EXPECT
As runners, the importance of mobility and flexibility cannot be understated. We’ve teamed up with Sophie Bowles (@sophieb_yoga) to bring you a series of specialist yoga sessions for runners
This is designed to be an introductory series. If this is your first time doing yoga, then be assured that this is going to be a super gentle practice that will leave your body feeling more open than when you started. You will also leave with some postures and stretches you can do at home to continue your mobility practice
What does the session entail:
45mins which includes breath work to get you in the right mind-set, longer held yoga postures to open up the body and a relaxing shavasana (lying down with your eyes closed - bliss!) with sound and incense
What do I need to bring?
Whatever you usually wear to do exercise in. There will be some hip openers so wear something that allows you to open the hip wide without discomfort
Mats are provided but if you want to bring anything else that makes you feel more comfortable during your practice then please do
Water for afterwards
